Ted Crosbie recalls his business and sporting life, while Fr James Good discusses his extraordinary career in Cork and his missionary work in Kenya. The late Charlie Hennessy, though very unwell, generously detailed his great love of his native city and of the arts. Terry Layton and Christy McCarthy humourously revisit their long careers as teachers at the Crawford Municipal Technical Institute, and later at the RTC in Bishopstown. Maighréad Ó Murchadha discusses her life with her late husband, sculptor Seamus Murphy, and their friendship with the Fleischmann family, while Gretta Sexton relives her thrilling evenings of theatrical performance at various venues around Cork, and the great encouragement of producer Jim Stack. Finally, former teacher and politician Máirín Quill discusses her wholehearted adoption by the people of Cork, and her long political career.
